No. Content-Sprout is proprietary software. Optional AI can run locally via Ollama so inference costs stay on your machine.

By default, no. Projects, uploads, and exports stay on your Mac. Optional cloud LLM proxies or publishing integrations only happen if you configure them.

A Mac (macOS 13+), ffmpeg for video export, and optionally Ollama (vision model) plus ComfyUI for local AI generation. Local AI generation is happiest around 48GB unified memory; smaller Macs can use cloud AI instead. See the Setup page for the full checklist.

For editing and export without local AI generation, 8–16GB is enough. If you run Ollama and ComfyUI image/video generation on the same Apple Silicon Mac, plan for about 48GB unified memory.
